LAGOSIANS LAUDS MEGACITY AMBITIONS

Lagosians have expressed their interest and excitement with the on going road infrastructure projects of the state's governor, Akinwunmi Ambode.

This call is coming as a result of the road project on going at the Agege-Pen Cinema axis, whereby the government is planning on making available an overhead bridge linking down to Oko-Oba area of the state.


With the projects still in progress, there have been witnessed traffics, road blockage but with all this 
in play, the populace are less worried and noted that they'd endure.



The overhead bridge is planned to ease transportation in the state as it is one of the masterplans the current administration is bent to achieve without setbacks.

In a cross section interview with Lagosians, one of them, Akiode Philomena, said that the incumbent governor knows what he's doing and very capable of achieving his feat.



Another settler in the state, disclosed that the road projects is for the development of the state adding that other states look unto Lagos as the chaperone of the country.

"Amongst all states in the country, Lagos spearheads everyone, which means you can't push it aside. For every project most especially the roads upgrade, I'd really commend the government because this indicates that they put the people first"

A student living within the affected vicinity, Toriola Timothy, praised the government as the road projects in a way is showing its positive motives of making the state a mega city.

Despite the state taking a huge chunk out of its citizens, they are ready to make things easy and accessible for everybody.with the populace expressing readiness to endure the tide till it last.

The projects been executed are aimed at achieving the feat of a Mega City state targeted for the year 2035.
